The Ambassador of the United States Visited Brodosplit

The Ambassador of the United States of America to the Republic of Croatia, Ms. Nathalie Rayes, accompanied by Brigadier Scott McLearn, the Military Attaché of the United States of America to the Republic of Croatia, visited Brodosplit today.

The US Ambassador were welcomed by the management leaders of Brodosplit and the DIV group, who informed her about the current jobs, projects and investments aimed at positioning Brodosplit on the map of the best shipyards in Europe.

She was particularly impressed by the largest square rigged cruise ship in the world, which she toured almost exclusively in the company of Sergiy Paschenko, the captain of the Golden Horizon. This ship is also the first passenger ship built in Croatia to receive a special certificate, the USCG COC (USCG Certificate of Compliance). 

One of the many responsibilities of the U.S. Coast Guard is to specifically monitor foreign-flagged passenger ships destined for the US cruise market while these ships are under construction outside the United States. 

After the tour, the expertise of all shipyard representatives involved in this impressive project was emphasised.
