The Special Facilities Shipyard participated in the Adriatic Sea Defense & Aerospace Exhibition and Conference ASDA 2023, which took place in Zadar, Croatia from May 3 to 5, 2023.

ASDA is the largest exhibition of military equipment and weapons in the region and has become a traditional event in the international military exhibitions calendar.

At the exhibition, the Special Facilities Shipyard showcased its technology transfer program and military program, including projects such as the offshore patrol vessel corvette OPV-C BIS91, the fast attack vessel FAV250, the fast intervention boat RHIB, and the coastal patrol ship CPV-31 Omiš. These ships were built for the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Croatia to protect internal sea waters and provide combat and logistical support tasks.

The coastal patrol ship Omiš, built by the Special Facilities Shipyard, has significantly improved the capabilities of the Croatian Navy with its technical equipment and navigational characteristics. It is particularly effective in adverse weather conditions, such as strong winds and high seas, and is equipped with an active stabilization system that enables the ship to be fully operational in sea state 4 and comply with NATO criteria for seaworthiness (STANAG 4154).

The Special Facilities Shipyard aims to position itself in the niche of patrol ships, fast attack ships, and unmanned special purpose ships.
