Storm in Split Causes Major Damage at Brodosplit

The storm that hit Split has left serious consequences, including significant damage at the Brodosplit shipyard.

Strong winds and heavy rainfall brought down two gantry cranes and caused damage to property, production halls, and workspaces. Roofs were torn off, windows and glass shattered, and many vehicles were damaged by fallen trees.

Most importantly – there were no injuries.

Damage repair is still ongoing, and this situation once again reminds us how crucial quick response, solidarity, and resilience are in times of crisis.

We extend our special thanks to our workers who showed exceptional courage, professionalism, and unity – they immediately organized and began repairing the damage in order to quickly restore safe working conditions.
