Earth Day

Every year, on April 22nd, we observe Earth Day - a reminder of the importance of environmental protection and caring for our planet to ensure its sustainability for future generations.

As part of its energy efficiency improvement projects, a photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 8,100 kW has been built within the shipyard’s production facility, which will reduce the need to purchase electricity.

Brodosplit holds the ISO 14001:2004 certificate, confirming that the shipyard has established a system of rules and procedures aimed at improving and protecting the environment, in accordance with the requirements of this international standard.

Improving energy efficiency in the production process and transitioning to renewable energy sources will significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere.

The project was co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund.
