Career Days on Faculty of Economics

Manifestation Career Days, organized by students of University in Split members of international organization AIESEC, was held in premises of Faculty of Economics on April 1 and 2, 2009. During this two day manifestation, 20 Croatian companies presented themselves to many students. Brodosplit shipyard was one of those companies that introduced its work and possibilities with presentations and written materials.

The goal of this manifestation was to attract as many students as possible and inform them on present situation in Croatian economy and employment office. Therefore, many useful lectures and workshops were created in way to educate the students and assist them in finding their workplace.

Companies of different activities had the opportunity to introduce themselves directly to future academic citizens and to give them detailed information on skills and knowledge necessary for successful inclusion in the labour market.

- The main goal of Career Days is to timely connect students with potential employers and vice versa, whereat the economists manifest their necessity for personnel. Emphasize the organisers of this manifestation, like Brodosplit, who introduced himself with Programme of qualification of deficiency personnel, under which they offer qualification for new positions, like welders, pipers, fitters and crane workers.

 

Croatian Employment Institute as the carrier of Programme activities finances the programmes, while the practical lectures are being held in the Brodosplit shipyard.

Following companies that presented themselves on the mentioned manifestation are Brodosplit, Gideon, Brodotrogir, SMS, Fair Split, Le Meridien Lav, Autohrvatska, Splitska Banka, P&G, Posao.hr, Atrium hotel, Guliver gallery and others.

Manifestation Career Days is a part of Campus Recruitment Program being initiated by AIESEC Croatia and which is held in Rijeka, Osijek, Split, Zagreb and Varaždin. Career Days is largest in row of projects being organized every year by AIESEC in Croatia.
