Jumbo Shipping is one of the world's leading shipping company for transportation of heavy or large size cargo, and the ship contracted and being built in the Brodosplit shipyard will be the largest in their fleet.
Ship length of 152 meters and breadth of 27 meters will be equipped with two cranes individual capacity of 1,100 tons. Deadweight in draft of 8.1 meters will be 14.000 tons. Speed of 17 knots will ensure two engines, each of 4500 kW at 750 r/min.
The ship will be built in Lloyd’s Register Class and delivery is planned in the first half of the 2013th.
Heavy lift vessels are sophisticated vessels they are not built in Croatian shipyards. It is a market that represents Brodosplit strategic goal.
