The contract for the construction of ships for the transport of bulk cargo (with the option of building another ship of the same features) in Split, the shipyard signed a Director of design and sales of Brodosplit Shipyard Ltd. Neven Jug and CEO of Jadroplov Inc. Branimir Kovačić.
Bulk carrier has the same dimensions of the m/v „Peristil“ i m/v „Sveti Dujam“ which are built and delivered to the domestic shipping company last year. By applying the new regulations, main engine is changed, so the Newbuilding will have better features – she will achieve lower fuel consumption and lower pollution.
The ship will have a dual class, and its construction will be supervised by Classification societies Bureau Veritas and Croatian Registry of Shipping. Delivery is planned for next year.
