The military attaché of the Republic of Turkey to Croatia, Colonel Özcan Yetiş visited Brodosplit on Monday, June 21, 2021.

Representatives of the Brodosplit acquainted the esteemed guest with current projects, emphasizing the construction of coastal patrol ships, as well as road construction and the Ston bridge and the Prapratno viaduct constructions.

After being introduced to the shipyard via current and future projects, the Turkish military attaché got acquainted with the capacities and production capabilities of the company. He toured the production facilities with a series of coastal patrol ships being built for the Croatian Navy. After the delivery of the prototype of the coastal patrol ship “Omiš”, Brodosplit returned to the navy shipbuilding niche beginning with the construction of submarines, large landing crafts, and patrol vessels for various purposes for the civilian market.

- The visit to the Brodosplit shipyard was very interesting. The quality of construction of coastal patrol vessels, the construction of passenger ships for polar cruises, and the construction of metal structures such as components for the Ston bridge and viaduct Prapratno underline the talent and knowledge of your designers, engineers, and shipbuilding capabilities. I am glad to confirm that the Brodosplit shipyard is capable of meeting not only military needs but also all related industrial needs of any national and international projects, based on many years of experience in building high-quality products - stated Colonel Özcan Yetiş.
